Party on!

So, I thought I'd try my hand at making a regular sized party hat, rather than the Mr. Potato Head size I attempted first... The "leaves" are actually made from the insulator around today's Starbucks Peppermint Mocha.... Such fun. You know, I think I finally found my "trademark"... I really like the whimsical look of black and white next to color, as seen here. What's your trademark? Do you find yourself reaching toward a favorite thing each time you go to create? Is there a technique you lean toward? Something that differentiates your work from that of others? Do you think it's important to have a trademark? Hmmm... Things to ponder...

not sure about my trademark, I have a particular piece of paper that I use on all of my favorite projects...usually when people see it, they know it is something that I have done.

Fabulous party hat. I like your recycling of the Starbuck's insulator sleeve too. Yes, I think we all develop our own trademark, whether we realize or not.

Love your party hat. So creative. Great use for the Starbuck's insulator. I do think that we develop our own trademark, even without realizing it.

That is lovely, but Mr Potatoe head can sure use a better hat than the plastic one he comes with. Don't give up on making hats for him!!

Love the hat. B & W looks great with many other colors but with the green it really pops. So cute.
My trademark used to be the gift wrap at my old shop which was a piece of pink or blue checked tissue paper wrapped around the gift with the ends sticking up then tucked into a clear plastic bag and tied with tulle to match. It was inexpensive to do and people always knew when they were getting a gift from the shop.
Good question?????????????????????
